ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE (Singapore, Malaysia)

Position Summary

Agora.io’s Account Executive will be responsible for driving and gaining customer adoption of Agora.io’s technology in the Singapore market. While based in Singapore, you will be reporting to our Director of Sales in California, and drive sales cycles with key accounts, negotiate and close major deals with targeted customers, and be a key team member in Southeast Asia with a great potential of evolving yourself and the company’s growth in this market.

Responsibilities

  • Execute full lifecycle sales processes achieving short-, mid- and long-term sales objectives.
  • Ensure sales and revenue targets are achieved in line with set objectives.
  • Engage potential customers, using industry standard “best practice” sales and account management techniques, including, calls, email, video conferences, in-person meetings social media, referrals, etc.

Position Summary

SDRs work with prospective customers to address their embedded real-time communications needs. Our SDRs serve as the front-line in our customer engagement efforts, responding to product and sales inquiries as well as trial accounts who have installed our products. The SDR will qualify leads and ultimately drive opportunities to the sales team.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to inbound leads generated by various lead generation programs.
  • Qualify and appropriately distribute qualified sales lead to the appropriate team for engagement.
  • Develop targeted outbound campaigns;
  • Target prospective key account engagements;
  • Make outbound calls to generate leads.
  • Nurture and manage SMB/Long-tail leads within assigned region.
  • Continuously maintain and update sales pipeline reporting tools.

TECHNICAL SOLUTIONS ENGINEER

Position Summary

The Agora solutions team helps companies, developers to easily integrate Agora’s products and supports them along the way. You swiftly problem-solve technical issues for customers to show how our products can make businesses more productive, collaborative, and innovative. You work closely with a cross-functional team of developers, not to mention a variety of both regional and international customers. Your relationships with customers are crucial in helping Agora grow and bringing our product portfolio into companies around the world.

When things go wrong, the buck stops with you; even with the most well-engineered products, customers need help. Our Technical Solutions Engineers step in and resolve our largest and most important customer production issues. You will be a part of a global team that provides 24×7 support to help customers. 

In this role, you will troubleshoot technical problems for customers with a mix of debugging, networking, updating documentation and, when needed, coding/scripting. You will use your experience to identify the root problem and improve supportability by working with a team of engineers and product managers. You will make our products easier to adopt and use by making improvements to the product, tools, processes and documentation.
 

Responsibilities

  • Manage customer issues through effective diagnosis, resolution, or implementation of new investigation tools to increase productivity for customer issues on Agora platform products.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of Agora’s product technology and underlying architectures by troubleshooting, reproducing, determining the root cause for customer reported issues, and building tools for faster diagnosis, so we can identify and resolve future issues quickly.
  • Act as a consultant and subject matter expert for internal stakeholders in engineering, sales, and customer organizations to resolve technical deployment obstacles and improve Agora.
  • Work closely with solution architect, product and engineering teams to find ways to improve the customer experience and our product.
  • Understand customer issues and advocate for their needs proactively with cross-functional teams like Product Management or Software Engineering.

Required Skills, Experience and Competencies:

  • 2-3 years of experience in a level 3-4 technical support role;
  • Understanding of the SDLC;

Position Summary

Agora.io is seeking a Technical Project Manager to join the Developer and Ecosystems team, to manage solution development projects related to the Agora.io SDK. You will work with our internal and external development teams to achieve objectives for each of our assigned projects. You are responsible for overall management of the specific projects and ensuring that the technical solutions and schedules are implemented in a timely manner. You are responsible for all aspects of the project including schedules, documentation preparation and customer/partner interaction.

  • Interface directly with partners and development team members to ideate, prioritize and deliver.

  • Support the solution architect by helping troubleshot customer’s coding issues.  
  • Manage customer issues through effective diagnosis, resolution, or implementation of new investigation tools to increase productivity for customer issues on Agora platform products.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of Agora’s product technology and underlying architectures by troubleshooting, reproducing, determining the root cause for customer reported issues, and building tools for faster diagnosis, so we can identify and resolve future issues quickly.
  • Act as a consultant and subject matter expert for internal stakeholders in engineering, sales, and customer organizations to resolve technical deployment obstacles and improve Agora.
  • Work closely with solution architect, product and engineering teams to find ways to improve the customer experience and our product.
