Agora Named a Webby Award Honoree for Best Realtime Experience Technology
Agora earns “the Internet’s highest honor” for its work with HTC’s virtual reality service
SAN FRANCISCO, CA – April 20, 2023 – Agora, Inc. (NASDAQ: API), a pioneer and leading platform for real-time engagement APIs, today announced that it has been recognized as a Webby Award honoree under the category Metaverse, Immersive & Virtual – Best Realtime Experience. Agora was recognized specifically for how its real-time engagement (RTE) technology is used for HTC’s VIVE Sync VR app. HTC’s VIVE Sync uses Agora’s RTE solution and video SDK to power real-time collaboration within the virtual environment, enabling seamless remote collaboration between HTC VIVE users.
