The Cloud Proxy feature for Voice Call, Video Call, and Interactive Live Streaming ensures reliable connectivity when end-users are behind firewalls.
Agora offers three operating modes based the end-users’ firewall settings:
Automatic
Best when unsure if end users are behind firewalls. This mode automatically uses TCP/TLS 443 if the SDK cannot establish a direct connection to SD-RTN.
Force UDP
Best when end users are behind firewalls and require the best media quality.
Force TCP/TLS 443
Best when end users are behind firewalls that only allow media on port 443.
